Hi Everyone! Last week I taught a Beginners Flow, and it went great! As you know, I’m a fourth grade teacher, so my “teacher mode” took over as I explained the basic poses to the students. I’m hopeful I did not talk too much, but received wonderful feedback. I appreciate everyone that was able to join me, but also appreciate YOU for taking the time out for yourself and doing my class!
In this class, I tried to work on alignment, so that you are always mindful when doing yoga. It’s appropriate for all levels. Enjoy!! Paz y Luz.
My name is Carola Stephens and I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a 500 hour Certified Yoga Teacher. My small business is called Grounding Fitness because I believe that you first need to work on your foundation (posture) first. Imbalances in muscles occur when our posture is off by repetitive movement or prior injury.
My focus is to empower women to feel strong by finding movement, health, and wellness. Finding time for yourself is important! You can't help others or be the best that you can be by having an empty cup. Self-care is important! All levels welcomed, especially beginners.
